If someone said they had visited Heaven, and someone else said they had visited Hell ...which account would you feel would have the greatest impact upon you?

Hebrews 9:27, reads, "And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment;"

1 Corinthians 15:31 - I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

2 Corinthians 12:2-4 --"I knew of a  man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth:) such an one caught up to the third heaven.  And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth:)  How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter."

Luke 16:19-31

New International Version (NIV)

The Rich Man and Lazarus

“There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.  So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

I personally know someone who was in Heaven ...and shared much with me about many things concerning there and here.

It's in the Bible, and I have a personal relationship with my Savior.  What He has told me ...He has told all of us, in the Bible.

Yes, Heaven is for real ...

It is as real as the Bible is real.  If you don't believe in the Bible, and what it says ...then there will certainly be a menagerie of experiences and visions that will lead you in seemingly countless directions.  But, there are only two directions ...and there is one Bible, which tells how to get where I'd hope everyone wants to go.

Jesus is the Light to our path ...but it is not just some light we are to follow, it is clearly who He is in the Bible.

Yes, Heaven is for real ...but it is not important what that description is, but that we know Jesus.

I don't know much about the description of the other place either ...but I know enough to be bold in making it clear how not to end up there.
